RESUSCITATE THE BENEVOLENCE FUND
A thin, pregnant woman with HIV recently traveled 75 KM to Soddo Christian Hospital seeking help with the delivery of her twins. She arrived with no money. We were able to help her and the babies because of the Benevolence Fund that is supported by generous donors.
This fund has now been depleted. Will you help this poor area of Ethiopia? Last year we used over $30,000 from the Benevolence fund to minister to needy patients. In 2010 we had over 17,000 out patients, 317 newborns, 3200 surgeries, and 21,000 in patients. Praise God.
- A C-section costs $70 and can save two lives.
- An orthopedic surgery for $100 can restore a father so he can work.
- $25 can buy medicine and food for a hospitalized child.
