Pathology is one of those crucial services for a hospital. When we are seeing a patient with an unknown blood disorder, we need to examine special preparations under a microscope. If a patient has a tumor surgically removed, we need to determine if it is malignant or benign. To do this, several pieces of specialized equipment are needed.
$300 will buy an autoclave
$500 will buy a special microscope with a camera fitted on it.
$1,000 will buy a microtome – a special knife for cutting very thin tissue specimens
And the big one is something called a tissue processor. This goes for around $12,000.
So, we’re setting the total for this project at $15,000. Help us out by making a contribution,
