Excellence and Compassion in Care

Every patient is treated with dignity—regardless of ability to pay. We believe excellent medical care and Christ-centered compassion belong together, caring for people of all backgrounds and all religions.

Through our Patient Benevolence Fund, even the poorest patients receive life-saving treatment—a tangible expression of Christ’s love in action.

Training & Capacity Building

Through our affiliation with the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS), we operate two residency programs in General Surgery and Orthopedic Surgery. In these five-year, fully accredited programs, Western surgeons train African physicians to increase Africa’s surgical capacity.

Soddo currently trains up to 22 residents at a time, with graduates serving across Africa—multiplying healing, skill, and hope.

Expanding Hope: The Hope Center

Construction is underway on the Hope Center for Women & Children—an expansion that will add 110 beds and increase our capacity for maternity and neonatal care, including a NICU and additional labor & delivery space.

With construction in progress and fundraising ongoing, we’re trusting God’s provision to complete this vital project.

Our Vision

Every department, every surgery, and every patient encounter exists to glorify God through compassionate, excellent care. We believe medicine and discipleship belong together—healing bodies, restoring dignity, and sharing the hope of Christ with every person who walks through our doors.
